Build Back Better, Defense Spending Drive High Revenues for Law Firm Lobby Shops

While tax, climate and health care are currently the main policy issues for law firm public policy clients in the Beltway, vying for new federal spending dollars will be the top priority for many operatives.

Federal government advocacy remains a lucrative money earner for law firms, according to documents filed Wednesday as part of the quarterly filing requirements under the federal Lobbying Disclosure Act. Firms are keeping busy advocating for clients on a variety of policy issues—especially tax, climate and health care—but with massive new government spending in the works, capturing a piece of the pie for clients will keep many D.C. lobbyists busy for the coming months.
