Kirkland & Ellis advised Diversified Energy Company plc (LSE: DEC) in its entry into an agreement to acquire certain upstream assets and related facilities in Oklahoma and Texas, within the company’s Central Region, from ConocoPhillips Company for $240 million (before customary adjustments). The transaction, signed on July 27, 2022 and announced on July 28, 2022, is expected to close during the third quarter of 2022.
