Ed. note: Welcome to our daily feature, Trivia Question of the Day!
President Joe Biden is taking steps to create a judiciary in the country’s likeness by nominating slews of women and racially diverse lawyers to our highest courts. By what percentage is he outpacing his predecessor, Donald Trump, in nominating those who are Black, Hispanic, or Asian American to the federal bench?
Hint: At this point, Biden has even surpassed Barack Obama’s attempts to appoint non-white federal judges. Thirty-six percent of Obama’s judicial selections were diverse, followed by Bill Clinton at 24%.
