WASHINGTON, D.C.—Steptoe & Johnson LLP is pleased to announce that Tyler Evans has joined the firm’s Government Contracts practice as a partner in the Washington, DC office.
For more than a decade Evans has worked to resolve complex government contracting issues on behalf of clients. His practice—which focuses primarily on the life sciences and defense sectors—spans matters involving research and development, non-traditional contracting, intellectual property, contract negotiations, flow-down requirements, small business issues, sourcing restrictions, costs, and compliance.
Evans also brings to Steptoe experience working on transaction issues related to negotiating and structuring government contracts. He has helped clients navigate multiple forms of agreements, from procurement contracts and grants to cooperative research and development, as well as other transaction authority, licensing, and clinical trial agreements.
