DALLAS, TX—Weil’s Liz Ryan, a Dallas-based trial lawyer and partner in the Firm’s Complex Commercial Litigation practice, has been named an On the Rise Award winner as part of Texas Lawyer’s 2022 Texas Legal Awards.
The On the Rise honor recognizes lawyers under the age of 40 who have wielded influence in their practice areas in Texas and beyond. According to the publication, the selected honorees were chosen for being innovators, developing unique practice niches, amassing robust books of business, demonstrating strong leadership qualities, showing expertise in litigation, in-house or transactional work and committing themselves to pro bono, charitable and professional volunteer work.
The winners will be recognized at an awards ceremony in September.
An experienced first-chair trial lawyer, Liz represents clients in complex, high-stakes business disputes, including breach of contract, fraud, tort, noncompete and trade secrets and defamation cases, in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration proceedings.
