WASHINGTON, D.C.—Stinson LLP is proud to welcome Partner Heidi S. Wicker to the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. Wicker will join the firm’s Banking and Financial Services Practice Division as a FinTech and Payments partner.
Wicker brings two decades of highly specialized legal and regulatory experience advising financial institutions, financial service companies, and technology companies on emerging products and services. She represents companies providing online and offline electronic and mobile payment services, money service businesses, national and multi-national retailers, and payment processors regarding critical legal issues affecting their businesses.
Wicker’s practice covers a broad range of areas, including emerging federal and state legislation, regulatory developments, compliance matters, banking, financial technology, and payments law matters. She has a diverse client base, including financial institutions and their service providers, money transmitters/money services businesses, technology companies, and e-commerce marketplaces.
Wicker received her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and her B.A. in Journalism from The George Washington University. She is a member of the District of Columbia and New York State Bars.
