TAMPA, FL—Bryant Miller Olive P.A. (BMO) is pleased to announce that shareholders Alecia Ingram Smith, Esq. and Misty Taylor, Esq. have been appointed to the 2023 Board of Women in Public Finance Florida Chapter. Caroline Barnes, manager at Integrity Public Finance Consulting (IPFC), BMO’s wholly-owned subsidiary, has also been appointed to the 2023 Board. Ingram Smith is remaining on the Board for the second year of a two-year term. Taylor and Barnes began a two-year term on Jan. 1, 2023.
In addition, Laurie Scott, CEO of IPFC, has been appointed the 2023 president of the Board of Women In Public Finance Florida Chapter.
The Women in Public Finance Florida Chapter was founded in 2016 as a chapter of the national organization, Women in Public Finance – a professional networking organization for women in the public finance industry. The mission of the Florida chapter is to further the goals of the national organization which are to support and advance the careers of women in public finance by fostering relationships and networking and providing educational and learning activities and forums.
